Citroen 2CV Bread Van

The Nimik Rally Team from Italy took the chassis and engine of a Ferrari F355 Berlinetta and combined it with the body of a 12bhp Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette bread-van. The result? A bread van that can hit 183 miles an hour.

Il giro del mondo con un taxi a energia solare: é l’impresa portata a termine da Louis Palmer, insegnante svizzero di 36 anni che, partito da Lucerna nel luglio del 2007, ha attraversato 4 continenti percorrendo oltre 52 mila chilometri . Come ultima tappa di questo straordinario viaggio il trentaseienne ha scelto un luogo più che simbolico, Poznan, città polacca dove fino al prossimo 12 dicembre sarà di scena la quattordicesima Conferenza dell’Onu sul clima. Lo scopo dell’ impresa era chiaro fin dalla partenza: dimostrare come le auto ecologiche sono ormai una realtà e possono sostituire tranquillamente gli attuali veicoli inquinanti

Detroit Iron At The Gumball 3000

There was a pretty good cross-section of archetypal Detroit machinery represented at the Gumball 3000 in San Francisco, including a donked Riviera, the lowest Ford pickup ever built (with the most beautiful set of vintage gauges I’ve seen in a long time), and a couple of classic musclecars. Yes, K.I.T.T. was there as well, though The Hoff himself prefers the non-video-game-style steering wheel of an Audi R8 for actual driving duties.
